Go eat waffles and masturbate.

baleen - 2013-08-20

Read some of those tweets. I hate this guy and find him endlessly irritating, but I do think it's sad that flagging campaigns by agitated feminists/christians/muslims/atheists can remove videos from Youtube. I agree with him and many others that their should be some method of appealing the process. Wikipedia locks controversial material from deletion and vandalism and youtube should do something similar.

EvilHomer - 2013-08-20

I may not agree with what he says, but I'll defend to the ban his right say it.

sjohnson301 - 2013-08-20

This guy looks like he's been continuously rolling out of bed and lazing around in that chair in that same t-shirt for months on end.

Old_Zircon - 2013-08-20

I wonder how come that is.

blue vein steel - 2013-08-20

fuck him

memedumpster - 2013-08-20

Two things :

1. Was any of that stuff copyrighted?
2. Chris Chan has more YouTube resiliency why?

EvilHomer - 2013-08-20

Probably not. Youtube's started going with a SOPA-style flagging system, whereby people can flag videos and get them removed from the site for pretty much any reason, or even no reason at all, and the burden of proof is on the video owner to.. well, it's not really clear what they're supposed to do, because as baleen said, Youtube doesn't have much of an appeals process.

If I had to guess, I'd have to say his videos got deleted over the "Controversial content" and/or "bullying and harassment" bans that Google snuck into the TOS some time ago, and have recently begun enforcing with ever-increasing gusto. Basically every video worth watching on Youtube falls into one of those two categories, so I'm with Banana-boy on this one.

EvilHomer - 2013-08-20

As for Chris-Chan, every time one of his videos goes down, a dozen mirrors pop up to take it's place.

memedumpster - 2013-08-20

So what happens if a lot of people flag the White House's videos, or one of the many media network honey orifices oozing its tentacle genital slime money towards eager drooling Google mouths?

Science can be done!

ToucheTurtle - 2013-08-20

I'm fairly sure that YouTube will have a protected channel status that prevents significant players having their content auto-removed.

EvilHomer - 2013-08-20

Why, if the people who can afford to get special treatment aren't allowed to do so, online society would plunge into anarchy!

Anarchy!

memedumpster - 2013-08-21

Youku still loves us.

Syd Midnight - 2013-08-23

TAA should be banned, he's embarassed more athiests than any creationist could.

Cherry Pop Culture - 2013-08-20

Someone please, please PLEASE put him out of his misery. He is blessed with an unfortunate personality.

Sudan no1 - 2013-08-20

He probably removed the videos himself then cried for attention, literally nothing is beneath this manbaby.

Spaceman Africa - 2013-08-20

Censorship is pretty gross but I'm for censoring this guy.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2013-08-20

James Cameron has really let himself go these days.

Hugo Gorilla - 2013-08-21

With as much money as he's bilked from his viewers, I'm surprised he's even allowed on YouTube.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2013-08-21

Meh, I have mixed feelings toward the Amazing Fatass. On one hand, he's an insufferable douche with a really shitty sense of humor and unwarranted self importance. On the other hand, I agree with a lot of his views, which I can't really say for any other YouTube personality that I'm aware of.

That being said, treating your audience as your personal army is always an incredibly lame thing to do, and like Sudan already said, I wouldn't put the idea of him pulling the videos himself and making the whole thing up past him. He's a huge sellout these days and seems to be hard up for cash, shilling everything from the latest shitty comedy movie to his shitty literature to the newest flavor of Starbucks frappaccino. Some of his videos in recent months have been nothing but him advertising shit, which I find outright bizarre. He must just be contacting companies and asking how much they'll give him to shill their product in his videos, because I doubt they're seeking him out.

All that being said, assuming this isn't a ruse, that is pretty shitty, but it happens all the time. Youtube really needs to do something about their free for all flagging system.

Syd Midnight - 2013-08-23

Isnt it proof of Intelligent Design that bananas fit the Amazing Athiests ass so well? If there is a God, no wonder this guy despises his creator.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-10-04

I'm looking at this two years later, and the video has been taken down.

If you've ever had a video tagged (I've had two tagged for copyright,) you know how random and arbitrary the process is. It's a consequence of YouTube's huge volume, and that's a consequence of how anybody can upload anything, which is awesome. .

TJ has uploaded plenty of stuff that's offensive and horrible. I have no idea if there's anything special about this video, but he's got a shitload of other places where he can post it.
