He's like Bob Ross by way of Noel Fielding.

I love this, more please?
Dude has his own Youtube channel. He's still working.

I love this style of illustration.

I love how when he explains the shading on the chain he's teaching children how to see shading in the world and how to visualize it, rather than some rote technique.

I like that he just jumps right into lesser-known cubist art.

I love that he looks like Noel Fielding dressed as Stalin.

Everything about this is fantastic.
My cat stepped on the keyboard and activated the captioning during the part with Sidney. You be sure to do the same.
I watched the hell out of this show when I was a kid.
Me too only... technically I was an adult.

I loved everything about Commander Mark Kissler when I was younger. Except the annoying gay robot.
I teach a drawing fundamentals class, and a lot of my material I learned as a kid watching this. Taught me how to draw.

Somehow I totally missed out on this guy back in my childhood days. Now I'm just stuck drawing crude penises for the rest of my life.

Was this on Canadian PBS or some shit like that?
Jet Bin Fever
This guy is a hero. I love his eyeliner too.
Watched this as a kid, but still can't draw.
Love this guy. He's a big part of why I'm an artist today
Commander Mark. Da boss.
Oh, so that was his name.

And when in doubt, I've always shaded my objects on the left, thanks to him. This taught me to be consistent with my shadows.
I have the Secret City book on my shelf next to some of the comics and stuff I did in my 20s.
Rodents of Unusual Size
I had completely forgotten about this show until just now...I love you Commander Mark.

THIS GUY, fuck yes. He had me drawing towers of tables and flags that took up entire notebook pages when I should have been paying attention in class.
