I don't get what was so weird about that. Seemed like a pretty standard scene to me.

I always hate it when I click through to a much more interesting and forget that I did that and want to leave a comment about a much better video. This lawn justice series is fucking awesome.

Waiting for a punchline that never arrives.

Oh, I get it. Black dude kidnaps a chubby white girl. I guess that's funny. Or something.

I guess this was funnier in the context of the movie. The guy is one of the three "bot" pilots in the movie (i.e., the saviours of humanity). The scene comes after a series of ones with strong subtexts of horror. The scene immediately preceding this one, for instance, the three pilots are literally surrounded by fresh corpses and one of them is excitedly raving about how cool the battle they just fought was while another is breezily laughing about the whole thing.

Oh well.

A couple actors sit around a poorly lit "command center", warehouse, or parking lot while occasionally cutting to some Full Sail quality cgi.
