Norbit deleted scene is.

This is like discovering there were a few more concentration camps in WWII.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-11-15

And from what I understand, Eddie Murphy isn't a bad actor, he (or his agent maybe?) just seems to pick the most fucking awful movies to be in. He's like a relative I have who can manage to be at a party and want to go home with the one attendee who's psychotic, abusive, and wanted by police in three countries.

Cena_mark - 2013-11-15

Eddie Murphy has done so many terrible films in the last two decades that its cancelled out all his fine work from the 80s. Sorry Eddie, we loved BHC and Coming to America, but you've destroyed your legacy. You are no better than Tyler Perry in my eyes.

hah

Old_Zircon - 2013-11-15

He should go back to his glory days of doing 10 minute rants about how faggots won't stop looking at his ass.

I've seen Delirious a dozen times (it was one of my friend's only VHS tapes when I was 13). Even before all the gay rights stuff turned me into the accepting man I am today, that bit was highly disturbing and unnerving, and not at all funny.

chairsforcheap - 2013-11-15

HAH! I remember showing delirious to a girl i ended up dating for a while to prove how he used to be funny. then that bit came on and i was like oh.....dear....

Mister Yuck - 2013-11-15

That rant is the comedian equivalent of a congressman talking about family values between trips to the airport bathroom. Eddie is trapped deep in the closet.

Quad9Damage - 2013-11-15

I remember the scene in "Beverly Hills Cop" where Axel is in his beat up old Chevy Nova, driving into Beverly Hills for the first time while "Stir It Up" blasts on the soundtrack. The way it plays out just makes me feel so damned GOOD, even though it happens not five minutes after Axel's friend is killed. It's tonal shifting done right.

There will never be another scene like that in an Eddie Murphy movie. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Ponder for a moment if that movie had happened the way it was originally intended: a straight cop drama starring Stallone.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-11-15

Murphy's character was gay?

Quad9Damage - 2013-11-15

Or how Jenny was originally supposed to be a love interest, but after Stallone dropped out Jenny was rewritten as a platonic friend because the studio feared that audiences would react negatively to a black man putting it in a white woman.

BHWW - 2013-11-15

So what, where these scenes cut for time or where they considered...not good enough...to make it into the final cut of...Norbit?

chairsforcheap - 2013-11-15

Terry Crews' pecs apparently steal this movie

Jack Dalton - 2013-11-15

Optical illusion at 1:58.
