Here's the stuff about the threat of legal action against at least one blog:
http://www.popehat.com/2013/12/02/quasi-literate-racist-asshol e-jim-deberry-of-definitive-television-threatens-to-sue-above-the- law-for-calling-his-video-racist/
Also, on the Definitive Television channel page (which features a photo of the above "Asian" guy), they write:
"email [email protected] if you'd like to see your comment, suggestion, or hate email read on an upcoming video."
That last bit sounds like the start of a hole with no bottom to me.
....even before I read that link I knew there was about a 0% chance of winning a libel suit. But it's a good read.

God damn, what a racist piece of shit.

Read the youtube 'about' section.
That's a double down with what I'm assuming is a thinly-veiled extortion threat against their client.
I wonder how smart it is to call out a law firm like that when you're not a lawyer yourself?

Here's what blows me away: There wasn't even a racist pun or joke attempted. It was literally just "Let's dress him up like a Chinaman, that alone is hilarious".
Yeah, I was also wondering about the connection. Why Chinese? Do they get a lot of copyright infringements or something?
Well, they did shoehorn in a "Confucius say...".

Did they rent the outfit from a racist costume shop?
I don't think it's the costume. I think it's the grotesque and practically subhuman caricature.
Then again, he does pull the Asian stereotype in a direction it hasn't been pulled since WWII: toward imbecilic.
So if you're Asian and you're feeling oppressed by the 'intelligent' aspect of the stereotype, please send this man a nice thank you note.

'This character was inspired in the same prerogative or edgy vein as'
That is the most truthful malapropism I've seen in advertising.

I wish I could see the look on the cameraman's face.
I imagine he was an Asian who quickly disappeared off the scene, much like the black engineer who was recording "Franklin Comes Alive".

When I think of car accidents, my mind always jumps to racist caricatures.

It turns out they've issued an apology for the ad, quote "Ah so, vely solly." unquote which was then followed by a five second silence and then someone shouting PSYCH! amidsts a lot of giggling.

At least he didn't wear a fake set of buckteeth. That's about the only thing that could've made this even worse.
