Joe Don Baker promises to bring some final justice to Congress.

"Think you can take me? Bring it on. It's your move."

Go 'head on!

Rodney Lee Conover: even his name says "Is that a beer?"

ashtar. - 2014-01-04

Was already in the hopper.

baleen - 2014-01-04

Sorry. I didn't steal it. I saw it on Death + Taxes.
One of the wonderful things about this site is the tags and submissions in the hopper do not communicate with the front page posts. It's a headless chicken.

I don't get it. If I were a mouth breathing tea-partier type, that seems like a perfectly good ad for me. It sells the candidate's honesty & lambasts the current crop of Representatives for their hypocrisy & inconsistency... both of which are valid criticisms of current Republicans.

Of course, in practice it probably means that this douchebag would be even more rigid & orthodox than the current batch, but as a hypothetical tea-partier that's exactly what I want.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2014-01-04

Is this guy a Tea Partier? I mean he didn't give any asinine opinions, just asinine metaphor. I kind of want to like him, since I know nothing about his actual opinions thus far.

Just like this old car that I love dearly, you need to throw your congressman into the junkyard because I will fight for you on all the issues.

yogarfield - 2014-01-04

if i was born with fetal alcohol syndrome, i too would systematically fatten the sides of my head in order to look somewhat normal. i'm not so sure i'd run for congress.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-01-04

I'm staying with my folks for a few months in Yucca Valley, right on the district line. On the other side of the line is Palm Springs. This district used to be up in San Francisco before the lines got redraws in 2012. With Palm Springs being shed from the tiny towns populated mostly of crazies and military personnel, the district is a Teabagger's wet dream. It seems my folks are the only liberals in the area, as everyone else seems to shun the idea of...other people. My grandmother goes to a church where the sermons are on Obamacare, without any scripture reading, that's how shitty it is out here. The whole damn desert is economically depressed and most people seems to be methed up. I helped my grandmother shopping and the local teenager approached that I was a "faggot granny fucker". If there are any schools out here, I haven't seen them or been able to determine where they would be. I think there is a large crop of homeschoolers in general. I'm really glad I'm not staying. This guy seems like he'll win.

Ahh, the conservative heartland.
