What gets me is what a poorly-constructed children's rhyme it is. I know huge portions of the subcontinent are blight-infested shitholes, but come on India, pull it together already. England was visited by the Black Death on multiple occasions and that didn't stop them from coming up with "Scarborough Fair".

I'm always irritated by the suggestion that inspecting the contents of Johnny's mouth is able to provide anything resembling verification of whether he was telling lies or not; sugar easily dissolves in saliva and Papa really should have known better.
