Tim Tebow is mentioned no fewer than four times in this song

How did American evangelicals come to decide that Tim Tebow was the most christlike living person? I feel like I watched it happen but never understood it at all.

Its clearly the result of a massive man-crush.

His public displays of thanking a deity for touchdowns happened when he appeared to actually be able to score touchdowns. Once that dried up, it kinda made it look like his god(s) didn't care about football.

So are they attempting to copyright the concept of a Christian Remix? Why? Who would even WANT that?

They took a song about buying second hand clothing, changed it, used new clothes and sports cars, and wound up looking worse than the people in the Macklemore video. Sounds pretty Christian to me.

Did they forget to take the "whites only" sign off suburb churches in America?

Yahweh would viciously murder these kids.

If that god existed, I might pray to him.

Where are two female bears when you need 'em?

Stuff like this makes me glad I wasn't raised in a church with a projector screen. I went to one once when I was a kid and even back then the projector was to show douchey clips like this.

I work as a pianist in a couple churches. One got a new pastor fairly recently, and he's all about the video projector. On one hand, it's one less song I have to play, but on the other hand, the contemporary/country gospel music videos he uses make me want to blow my brains out.

CCM is baffling to me. Only under the extreme biases of religion can anyone say that rubbish is good. Why don't they just bust out some Johnny Cash's Christian songs? That's good stuff.

Boaz was seduced by Ruth when she sneaked under his bedsheets and gave him the blowjob of his life. You cannot ask someone to be your Boaz or Ruth then the next line be you leading True Love Waits. I don't think I can rate this correctly.

Intolerable.
cognitivedissonance - 2014-02-08
But thrift isn't a virtue of the Christian lifestyle anymore. God wants you to spend as much money frivolously as possible so that he can give it back to you when you pray hard enough.

Is "I saved a puppy" some form of code-speak for "I beat up a queer"?

So...these guys are making fun of christians, right?
