The racist bar owner is clearly an asshole, but the guy in the wheelchair is what gets me. In addition to mispronouncing "ethnicity", they say he was a regular at the bar for years. You'd think they would mention it if he had been able-bodied, then refused service once wheelchair bound.
So technically he will serve the disabled, so long as you're straight, white, employed, and not a freak. Just don't piss him off by saying anything that isn't racist.

Man, I lived in shithole Oklahoma for seven years and nothing was ever in the news. Now it seems like I hear some OK story in the national news at least once a month.
According to the article, the disabled man who took this to the press and complained about being turned away had been visiting this place for years, while able-bodied. In other words, all the racism, homophobia, and anti-disabled sentiment of the place was just fine with him...until he became the target.
Forgive me for not feeling sympathy.
