Barf. I hope the next video in the series is them getting rolled up in a carpet and thrown on a freight train headed for Mexico.

So it's that Paris Hilton show with a kind of "Dirty Jobs" premise except with New York girls? This show clearly has much to teach the world about wanting to shoot yourself in the face rather than making it past however long it took me to type this. "Here is what a feminist behind the scenes peek at the sleazy underbelly looks like when there's a giant film crew drowning everything around them with their observer effect." Good vid!

Vice seems to produce things that are fantastic journalism and things that are utter garbage. I would love to see a behind-the-scenes that explained this wild inconsistency.

I think it's "any eyeballs are good eyeballs". If you get onto their feed, in the worst case you can spot good stuff by them on the "related videos" feed. So you can go from their film of bunny equestrian to the child slave trade.

Vice documentaries: NYC hipsters purport to make a film about ______ but it's really just about themselves.

Old_Zircon - 2014-02-12

That's only like 70-80% of them.

jreid - 2014-02-12

True, many of the hipsters are from LA and other cities.

Cena_mark - 2014-02-12

It works for Micheal Moore.

Bartender: What are you two doing in the middle of podunk, middle-of-nowhere
These girls: Feeding our egos.

That's weird, Vice magazine is usually about privileged white, Greenwich people going to third-world nations and saying "Woah guys its so fucked up here!"

EvilHomer - 2014-02-12

Hey, HEY. When you come from Greenwich, the rest of the country IS a third-world nation.

RedHood - 2014-02-12

This is a really weird Lana Del ray video.

EvilHomer - 2014-02-12

I'm a bit torn here. On the one hand, I think the main criticism PoE has leveled against this documentary is essentially correct: it's an out-of-touch ego piece with some strong whiffs of condescension, like watching a pair of pretty, postmodern Marie Antoinettes play peasant in Le Hameau.

On the other hand, phwwooooorrr, now THAT'S a truckstop stripper! 'specially the redhead!

EvilHomer - 2014-02-12

Has anyone checked out their other videos? Do they by chance get jobs as cosplay girls in a Maid Cafe?

Gmork - 2014-02-12

If such a cafe existed near me I would burn it.

EvilHomer - 2014-02-12

Yeah, I feel you buddy. Those places are always so overpriced and the food's just not up to par... but what can you do, right?

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-02-17

I skipped a lot of it because of all the aforementioned parts. I did like the "17th century Celtic priest" guy though.

VaultDweller13 - 2014-02-17

5 stars for the description. Vice is a filthy tabloid owned and founded by a neo-con.

The Mothership - 2023-02-12

For the blind in one eye 'virgin'
