I like the music, seems like a fun party. I guess the best part of a revolution is the ability to make giant bonfires and throw furniture in them.
Oh shit, teargas canisters going off and rocks flying everywhere. Holy shit... that changed the mood pretty fast.

Just to understand what is happening:
Thousands of cops are surrounding these people, its the last stand. They've erected a fire all around them. It's a siege to the death, basically. They aren't giving up and I wonder what situation with the supplies is. You can see tents, but they're also throwing their jackets into the fire, which is really extremely moving and intense.

At least 14 confirmed deaths so far. Two armored trucks have been set on fire and two cops killed.
Some are suggesting the casualties are much higher.

This is fascinating, and depressing.. I wish I could watch it all night (or morning, depending on where you are). Call me a Luddite, but after the stream ends can you watch the whole thing? I never even realized that youtube did live streaming.

Woke up this morning and started watching it again. There's no way to make this like a live feed update, but holy shit. After a series of speeches I could unfortunately not understand, but think I got the gist of, the PA system played something that sounded like Palestrina, but I could be wrong. Anyway, it was silence, and now it's a folk singer and everyone's singing again.
