From his Wikipedia entry:

"Ager was a Liverpool representative of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP)"

Which pretty much tells you that him commenting on racism is about as even-handed as that done at CPAC.

This guy also thinks The Shining is a polemic against fiat currency. It's interesting that he has these rightwing, libertarian, conspiracy-theorist views because a lot of his other observations about film are very good and well-founded, and his editing technique is very finely honed.

In the 21st century, every racist and every misogynist is all about "equality", standard they like to apply with a compulsive literalness suggesting Asperberger's.

And so, Failing to acknowledge the possibility of an injustice against white people (not DENYING the possibility, just not mentioning it explicitly) is an actual injustice against white people. Quick, somebody, call a WAAAAHmbulence! I'm willing to acknowledge that these policies are not above criticism, but they don't rise to level of victimhood for what folks, which is what calling htem "anti-white" seems to suggest.

I noticed that, when talking about racism of the past, he talks about "slavery", and nothing more, as if everything has been great for black people since the slave trade ended. American racists like to do the same thing.

Haha ok! Touch
Hyperbole suggesting affectation and sloppy rhetoric?

You know, there may be exceptions, probably are, but I can't think of one offhand. It really seems like every racist and every misogynist I encounter is claiming that they are are the oppressed, the victims. Misogynists will be more likely to actually use the word "equality", but racists tend to apply a similar logic. No one ever claims that they're the group on top because that's the way it's supposed to be.

Oof, I've noticed this, too. There seem to be a whole raft of white people out there who got outraged about racism once they realized that white people could actually be discriminated against.

I'm normally pretty good with accents, but I can't not hear "corporate fuck-cats."
