HOCKY

Monkey Napoleon - 2014-03-11

I suppose next this lady will upload a video detailing how for 16oz of Bud Light is quite a bit more than what you'd pay at 7-11.

I've known about this for a few years, but just don't care about anyone else enough to let them know. If you're dumb enough to actually go to sporting events and drink beer, then you don't deserve any help, in my book.
That being said, if you get a luxury box, at many venues, everything is included in the ticket price, and it is a virtually limitless buffet of concessions items. I know, the price is too much for people, but if you prefer to not get shit spilled on you, get cramped from shitty stadium seating, or just like being able to actually socialize while having the game as background entertainment, then it is worth the cost.

"This stadium is demonstrably ripping us off!"

"Be richer!"

Don't go to sportsball events. Problem solved.

Or just pocket a flask. The only big sporting event I've been to in the last 10 years was the superbowl, which my ex accidentally won tickets to, and we each brought flasks on the bus in anticipation of beers (wrong, they were , for a Coors.) In that case, we noticed a LOOOOOONG line (took two hours to get into the stadium) because they were patting down everyone (imagine TSA but way longer), so we just shotgunned our whiskey, concealed by the darkness of Deja Blue water bottles, and were drunk during an otherwise unmemorable superbowl game which I wanted to sell the tickets for in the first place.

As far as I know, most sports or large music venues don't do this, at least not to that extent.. maybe I'm wrong, because I don't regularly attend either, but it was pretty easy for me to bring my flask into a Brewers game.

Normally I'd laugh at this sort of complaining but this is in fact a pretty bitch ass move.

Koda Maja - 2014-03-12

Also, their complaining actually got the issue resolved:

If you choose to drink beer at a sporting event, you not only have to wait in long lines to buy it, but then you're spending all that time getting up to go to the bathroom. The only time you're actually watching the game is while you're drinking the beer.

SolRo - 2014-03-12

on the other hand, I can only tolerate watching sportsball while drinking.

so you could think of stadium beer as an expensive excuse to not watch sportsball.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-03-12

But you get a much sleeker and sexier cup.
