Hey, at least she's reading, and at her appropriate level too.

vanilla_killa - 2014-03-11

:(

ashtar. - 2014-03-11

decent church going women with their mean, pinched, bitter, evil faces

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-03-11

Yes! Where's old Bull when we need him, eh?

Potter - 2014-03-11

Somehow we missed his 100th B-day this year. The fact that there was no fan-fare is a sad commentary on the world.

I'm impressed she got through all the big words.

Cena_mark - 2014-03-11

She didn't get to the end of the book where the government hating libertarian tries unemployment benefits and then realize he loved government all along.

kumi - 2014-03-14

Oh, the unintentional irony of it. If she ever got to the end of Green Eggs and Ham...

kamlem - 2014-03-11

The worst Indian nursery rhyme yet.

TeenerTot - 2014-03-11

Genius!

MongoMcMichael - 2014-03-11

Ted Cruz did it better. At least he didn't pause to mug for the camera every five seconds.

"A friend bailed on the speech, making the very plausible case that Palin is simply another political celebrity freakshow, like Donald Trump. I can see the point there but, with Palin, and watching the hysterical reception her puerile screed received, there is something more serious going on. She is the living representation of the infantilization of American politics, a poisonous Grimm Sister telling toxic fairy tales to audiences drunk on fear, and hate and nonsense. She respects no standards but her own. She is in perpetual tantrum, railing against her betters, which is practically everyone, and volunteering for the job of avatar to the country's reckless vandal of a political Id. It was the address of a malignant child delivered to an audience of malignant children. If you applauded, you're an idiot and I feel sorry for you." --Charles P.Pierce on this very speech

CornOnTheCabre - 2014-03-11

What a bully! *suggests nuclear diplomacy*

CornOnTheCabre - 2014-03-11

after finally looking Nuclear Diplomacy up, it doesn't exactly mean what I thought it did. this video must've rubbed off on me.

fatatty - 2014-03-13

You don't get much more infantile than making up Dr. Seuss rhymes about your political opponents.

I look forward to her next CPAC address told entirely in the cadence people normally reserve for dogs and babies.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-03-11

Palin, Trump, Gingrich, Medved... I'm not sure why they keep asking these idiots back? They only appeal to the ever-shrinking group in the GOP echo chamber, and it makes their party as a whole look even worse than it did before the conference started.

Is it fear that if they don't invite the freaks, the freaks will find a way to screw things up for the Republicans even more, or is CPAC just a way to set the bar so high for batshit conservatives that it makes the ones that are in office look reasonable by comparison?

Cena_mark - 2014-03-11

I think they are holding it hostage, just as they hold the entire Republican Party hostage. They have to be pandered to or else.

Riskbreaker - 2014-03-11

Might as well start inviting cobra commander to this thing, the guy would make more sense.

Hooker - 2014-03-11

Wow. She's worked on her flirty 50s whore style of delivery quite a bit since I last heard her speak.

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-03-11

Modern American conservatism has such a deliberate, spiteful stupidity to it.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-03-11

I would love it if the Onion "attacked" her for mocking CPAC by being so elitist that she had to demonstrate her ivory tower superiority via having learned to read.
