i think it's food for the birdies

I grew up in a townhouse that shared a wall with a couple that harbored birds. Their endless shrieks sent my grandmother's skittish chihuahua to an early grave. I didn't understand the fascination then, and now it has only turned into unending disgust.

Anything that kills chihuahuas is okay by me.

You wouldn't last five seconds here in Floribama.

The first time you stepped outside, the cacophony of wild bird cries would drive you mad.

A couple of parrots and cockatiels going at it full cry is nothing...NOTHING. It's almost soothing by comparison.

And then at night, there are the bugs and the frogs.
