oddeye - 2014-04-15 I hope they skip a lot of the Judge Death stuff and do something more fun like Aliens vs. Dredd or Batman vs. Dredd. Think of the ratings!
Anyway I used to occasionally read 2000AD when I could afford it and I distinctly remember Dredd having been killed 2 or 3 times which I figured is fine since *spoilers* he is a clone *spoilers*. However in the latest story arcs and whatnot his age and accumulated injuries are supposed to be a factor in the plot.
How can this be?!? Does he age quicker or heal slower or something because of the spoiler?
infinite zest - 2014-04-15 I'd kind of like Anderson taking the Tank Girl role, and Dredd just fading out.. like an X-men franchise movie that isn't just about Wolverine (spoiler alert: they all are.) In a movie which was nearly perfect, the thing I enjoyed most about Dredd was that Urban never takes off his helmet.
OK the slomo thing was kinda dumb, but made for some really cool effects
StanleyPain - 2014-04-15 I have to say, Dredd was a pretty damn good movie. And it's funny how movies like that separate the real comic fans from the dipshit pop-culture-vacuum type people who will squeal like piggies over shit like Deadpool and then be like "WHO?" when a Judge Dredd movie comes out. Fuck yeah I'll sign a petition even though it means absolutely dick...I'd love to see Urban do another one.
Harveyjames - 2014-04-15 Dredd is the best 80's movie ever made in the 10's.
Riskbreaker - 2014-04-15 Some fanboys of The Raid were blasting the movie when it came out because of the similarities on the plot (bad guys at the top of an apartment building) but this one came out and ended up being the better film.
