Joke complete? I didn't hear anyone tell a joke.
That's what video games are these days anyway, aside from Nintendo: just cinematics.
Yeah because saving Princesses Peach and Zelda and playing the latest Mario Kart/Smash Bros rehash for the umpteenth damn time is so interesting.
Nintendo? Please tell me you're joking.
nobody is making it out of this thread alive or with their dignity intact
Nintendo makes video games, i know, shocking. Here's another shock, a multi-eletronic company and the company that makes windows don't really have video games as a priority. One is bleeding money so fast all their Patrick Bateman executives are taking turns deciding who jumps from their office building first. The other one released another huge piece of plastic nobody wants.
An rehashes? In the same industry that does nothing but rehashes? Good heavens! Also, if video game trailers these days are just videos and not...games, is because we tolerate this bs. No other industry gets away with the shit the vg industry does to it's consumers. Please don't tell me you niggas just play "hardcore mature games" and that's why you told Nintendo to fuck off years ago, because the Wii had many great games, and once more, you might not dig the current Wii U line up, but at least they are fucking games, no day-one-patch-watch-movie-sometimes-press-x-to-win.
(i would finish this with "adjusts beard" but i can't grow one anyway)
Wait, which one is haemorrhaging money right now and what's the story behind it?
Sony, the overall company, is bleeding money, hard and fast. Remember that everytime you see some game "journalist" predicting the fail of Nintendo:

Fine, I'll rate it since no one else will.
|The Mothership |
some nice animation but it tells me nothing about who are the good guys and what the game is about.
And... it's a starship... hyperdrive... IN AN ATMOSPHERE?! God dammit.
It also looks like it wants to be Warhammer SOOOOO bad. It doesn't help that even their voice actors sound bored. Bah.

Yeah, I was inclined to be sympathetic towards the guys in the single-fighter jets.
But I get the feeling the player will get to control the giant ship bristling with guns.

I've never heard of this game before and I still know nothing more than "there is a game of some sort named Dreadnought."
It's supposedly some sort of tactical combat space game that seems a lot like an attempt to make a whole game out of the capital ship battles in Eve Online, without the MMO part. The system requirements for it are like Crysis 3 or something.
These aren't my kind of space ships, but space ships are cool.
