Stars for the opening theme

The original animated specials were great.

I'm not ashamed to admit I still get teary-eyed if I hear the song "So Long, Old Friend" from "Here Comes Garfield".

The "Diana's Piano" segment from "Garfield: His Nine Lives" is very tear-welling, as well.

The TV show with Lorenzo Music doing Garfield's voice wasn't bad, either (as opposed to the abortive CGI one that was on for a while, I think). The writing for it was about as far from the comic as you could get.

Also, I remember one of the strip collections has a photo in the back of all twenty-odd people needed to produce the comic strip itself. I thought, "Wow, look at how many people it takes to really make something utter shit."

Then there was Garfield the lab test animal in life 7, which was sort of like watching Jim Davis' The Plague Dogs.

No wonder i can't beat Kefka, Davis is still in my party!
