If I had actually directed "The Incredible Two Headed Transplant", rating it would have seemed immodest, but I didn't; I just copied the information into the window, so who cares? I've been rating my own submissions for years, and this is only the second time someone complained. If it was such a threat to the integrity of our bullshit rating system, surely it would have been disabled.

Besides, Casey Kasem is dead, and as a sign or respect, I'm going to five star his shitty low budget sci fi snorefest, even if you meddling kids try to stop me.

Not only was I kidding, but I also approve. If you posted it, you must think it's good, so why not? I kinda hate the taboo myself.

Personally I find it a little cheap to five star your own submission IF there are very few views or votes. I have done it before to save a video from getting bumped off the front page.
