ahh.. the Summer of '95. I left for Japan in June and returned in late August. Here it was OJ OJ OJ.. we had homestays who had the TV on and it was OJ OJ OJ, and television specials reminding us that it was the 50th anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings.
He was one of the lesser known Simpsons. Kind of like Richie Cunningham's older brother, Charles, they kind of just wrote him out of the show around the same time as Black Smithers.
I thought this was that "Maynard's Wine Gums" advert with the Scottish lord dancing while singing "Hoot's Mon, there's Juice, Loose, aboot this hoouse!" like in that song by Lord Rockingham's XI.
