stars are for his "SFTU" tattoo.

fluffy - 2014-06-21

(obviously he cares deeply about the mission of the San Francisco Tenants' Union)

exy - 2014-06-21

I dunno, I'm kind of fond of that apostrophe.

oddeye - 2014-06-21

It's meant for others to read and think " I'm his enemy? The fuck did I do?"

For some reason.

EvilHomer - 2014-06-21

It's a glottal stop. The tattoo is referring to You'r, an East Timorese man he met in college, and with whom he has been feuding for the past decade.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2014-06-21

His website is a treasure trove of inane crazy.

The gay pride flag hanging behind him coupled with the fact that he does most of his videos nude (one is him nude playing the piano, in which his full nude body is visible) makes his apparent anti-homosexuality comments particularly puzzling.

oddeye - 2014-06-21

His taking rainbows BACK from the queers.

EvilHomer - 2014-06-21

Rainbow Dash proved that cool straight males can like rainbows and still be cool, straight.

This guy seems more like a Trixie fan, though, or even someone obsessed with his own self-insert OC, a black-colored, black-and-hotpink maned vampire-alicorn named Trier'Alucard von Yamato, whose cutie mark is an XBox controller and who can use super-powerful magicks even though two-thirds of his horn got broken off in a fight against Discord ten millennia ago.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-06-21

His obsession with Laci Green may be related to a woman he used to date. He talks about her at the beginning of another video (in the hopper) , though it has nothing to do with the topic of the video. The woman's background was weirdly similar lo Laci's: Mormon upbringing, left the church, embraced liberalism and feminism, and then she broke up with him over an argument about abortion. It seems like Laci Green is is some kind of stand-in for this girl who abruptly stopped fucking him, (he expresses the relationship in those terms) and he's really angry about it.

exy - 2014-06-22

He seems like he'd angrily fuck the gay out of every man he gets a chance to.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-06-21

Suddenly the Amazing Atheist seems so warm and human.

If only all child sex predators would be so kind as to tattoo their faces so that they can be easily recognized and avoided.

Him or the 12 year old?

memedumpster - 2014-06-21

But this illustrates an interesting point. Skill in metal working > skill in being the reincarnation of Peter Lamborn Wilson.

EvilHomer - 2014-06-21

What if it turns out that he IS a metal-worker?

fluffy - 2014-06-21

What, not even out of spite?

memedumpster - 2014-06-21

His creepy child sex fetish disqualifies any skill he may have in the metal arts.

Nah, I don't spite, rage, or revenge fuck. I actually see sex as one of the only things dudes can do that isn't burdened by the ridiculous dumbass that occupies the human mind. Somehow, with all the other damage I have, I ended up sexually really chill and easy going. Nothing is a bigger turn-off for me than someone who philosophizes, power plays, or in any other way burdens playing with dicks and balls with unnecessary insecurities or methodologies.

EvilHomer - 2014-06-21

Apparently the video being referenced is this one (SFW, but might be awkward explaining it to your boss):

As insipid as the song is, the video itself doesn't really strike me as being particularly sexy or risque... but I guess pedos and slutshamers can fudge the details in order to keep themselves occupied?

fluffy - 2014-06-21

Eh, maybe it would have been seen as scandalously sexual 20 years ago, what with the vaguely-implied sorta-humping motions and the aerial presentation of butts.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-06-21

fluffy, you understand that the girl is 12, right?

Quad9Damage - 2014-06-21

I just watched this while drunk. Thanks?

Quad9Damage - 2014-06-21

She sings about shaking her boom-booms when she should be working on her summer reading list or whatever.

Quad9Damage - 2014-06-21

Also I am drunk hi.

fluffy - 2014-06-21

I am aware, JHM, and the thing is that some girls actually undergo puberty at that age and aren't taught to be ashamed of their bodies by a society one step removed from Victorian prudes.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-06-22

Fluffy, I can respect your opinion if you don't think there's anything wrong with this, but the truth is that many people do see this as scandalously sexual. I certainly do.

I remember this whole big thing with the little girls at the dance school dancing to "Single Ladies" and they were wearing revealing costumes, and dumbasses were all indignant. I was very cool with that. I don't remember if it was poe-news or in here, but there posts about how the parents were all pedos, and that was just crap. It was kids dancing in dance costumes.

This is different. This is trading commercially on children's sexuality, which I'm sure you know, was the flip side of victorian repression. Victorian London was a great place to hire a 13 year old for the evening.

None of my theories of child rearing are based on actual child rearing experience, but I think that giving children time to be an individual before being a sexual commodity is one of the benefits of civilization. I think its great to value kids for being themselves before they're valued for being sexual.

I believe that Jenna Rose in this video is a 12 year old girl being valued as a sexual commodity, and I don't think that's right. I can't prove that it will hurt her or other kids, but... jesus.

EvilHomer - 2014-06-22

I think you're overreacting a bit, Mr Holmes. Miss Rose is not a indentured Thai child being passed around a dark whorehouse basement by a gaggle of sweaty old Swedish businessmen. She's a girl who made a music video. Is she a commodity? No more than any other entertainer. Is she too sexual? That's up to you, but remember, your perception is *your* perception: I thought Fluttershy was being way too sexual in Filli Vanilli, but other people may not have felt that way, or even noticed the sexual undertones that seemed so obvious to me. My reaction tells us more about me than it does about Fluttershy's behavior.

Anyway, I'm with Fluffy on this one. Like you, John, I do not know if allowing kids who're going through puberty to be kids who are going through puberty will harm them - I rather suspect it won't. I do know, however, that telling a child she is wicked for growing up, and holding her up for vicious public condemnation and ridicule, is profoundly damaging. Thousands and thousands of strangers who've never met her, passing snap judgements based on a few minutes of video, theorizing on her state of mind, reducing her to a passive non-agent, calling her a wicked little slut for the crime of wearing shorts and making farty old men feel uncomfortable... I don't see how that can possibly be helpful.

Adham Nu'man - 2014-06-22

I don't think that video or lyrics are really appropriate for a 12 year old. I don't think it's the end of the world or anything but parents, where the fuck are you? Have you ever heard of pedos?

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-06-22

>>Is she a commodity? No more than any other entertainer.

But she's much less of a fully formed personality.

>>Is she too sexual? That's up to you, but remember, your perception is *your* perception:

It's not up to me. It should be up to her, but she's not considered qualified to make that decision.

>>Like you, John, I do not know if allowing kids who're going through puberty to be kids who are going through puberty will harm them - I rather suspect it won't.

I guess you have a point. After all, Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Justin Bieber, and Miley Cyrus all grew up to be normal, healthy, well-adjusted adults.

EvilHomer - 2014-06-22

No, they didn't grow up to be well adjusted, and that's the point. Miley, Britney, Bieber, they were all made objects of society's hate, of public ridicule and condemnation. You remember when Miley Cyrus made that video, just her dancing on a bus? And conservative media analyists were all wagging their fingers, claiming the video was supposed to represent a depraved gang-rape bus, and oh heavens Miley, what a horrible person you are for riding on this gang-rape bus, what a terrible influence on young people, what a slut? Combine *years* of this treatment from allegedly well-meaning adults, with the perfectly natural temptations that money and success offer to people, and is it any wonder that these poor kids turned into neurotic wrecks?

Growing up is not optional, however much we might like to imagine otherwise, and fighting against it never actually works. There are certainly some sensible actions that concerned older people can take to ensure that adolescents are allowed to grow up safely, free from the ever lurking danger of strange violent subhuman deviants. Steps such as defending age of consent laws, not allowing guys with facial tattoos near children, and so forth. Siccing a nationwide mob on a child to tell her that her budding sexuality is sinful and wrong, I'm sorry, but that is not a sensible action.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-06-22

God, you so winging it!

When she gets fucked in the head, we can argue about whose FAULT is is, but right now it's the RESPONSIBILITY of some adult to not let her be vulnerable to these forces. I think child stars get fucked in the head because they have a public image before they have a sense of self , and the sense of self is distorted.

I think this video is a piss poor way for a girl to see herself before she really knows who she is. I know this is armchair psychology, homer, but in this case, I believe my armchair psychology is better than yours.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-06-21

Children should have a chance to develop their own identity before they become exotic dancers.

EvilHomer - 2014-06-21

*Boxxy joke*

Quad9Damage - 2014-06-21

I am in a higher state of consuscioness where music sounds better and the walls are all tingly and feel good but her music does not sound good; it is frightening. There is a voice whispering somewhere in my ear that there's some kind of strange marketing ploy, on a subconscious level or perhaps on a conscious one, being conveyed towrd adults who want to fuck children or paint up children to look like assertive horny adults and then fuck them. Thet are wrong for that and i only made it three minutes into the tattooed guy's video before I wnated to shoot him in the face.

Maggot Brain - 2014-06-21

Does his tattoo say "Know you'r Enemy?"

oddeye - 2014-06-22

better question: Why don't all tattoos say that?

exy - 2014-06-22

I'll say! I'm going out and getting one right now.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-06-22

At the beginning of this he plays a clip of Laci Green, and follows it with commentary that has nothing to do with what she said. He says that she's advocating "government internetion" and I don't think she is, and she certainly doesn't say anything about it.

People do this all the time with Laci, or Anita, or anyone who actually calls herself a feminist. They respond hysterically to what they think she said, and she did not say it.. That happens ALL the time.

ashtar. - 2014-06-22

Oh, so you think the government should censor all critics of feminism? That's a great plan, Stalin, but in AMERICA we have a little thing called FREE SPEECH.
