Loved the reverent choir in the first three minutes. Cleanliness really is next to godliness.

Dunno if I'm reading 5:50 right; are they saying they can finally make a plane where leaving your DS or phone on won't cause it to crash?
SolRo - 2014-06-28
no, they can finally make a computer graphic of something that doesn't exist.

I think the main issue these coatings have still is it is not very durable (rubbing it with your finger will start to wear it off) and fades quickly in sunlight. Also you need a gasmask to apply it outdoors.

At least it's not a boat.
Oscar Wildcat - 2014-06-28
What boat? I don't see any boat.

Father Avalanche - 2014-06-28

SolRo - 2014-06-28
Teflon coating makes things amazing for idiots.

or are we being hipster ironic?
SolRo - 2014-06-28
It will also cost you 0 for a quart of that shit to make your work gloves waterproof.

Hooker - 2014-06-28
I haven't looked deeply into this, but apparently it rubs off quite easily as well.

HOWEVER, the point of a demonstration is not to illustrated how great it will be on your fucking dollar store work gloves, let alone this early in its development. Jesus Christ, SolRo.

Father Avalanche - 2014-06-28
i think this place is only 35% hipster, and besides fuck you. pretension is good in doses. and 35% is a pretty good mate-rate.

baleen - 2014-06-28
You go get em' SolRo!

SolRo - 2014-06-28
Christ you guys are idiots.

"Early in its development"

a) it's a retail product

b) Teflon coatings have been around for decades

c) this is the same shit that dockers puts on their pants and then calls it "nanotech", except they manage to do it without leaving a sticky white residue.

You're being marketed at, and you're swallowing the whole load.

SolRo - 2014-06-28
Also I'd love to know what application you would use this 0, week to a month lasting treatment on.

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-06-28
Now that's some lube I can get behind, Sol.

Father Avalanche - 2014-06-28
we would use it on our dicks, of course

memedumpster - 2014-06-29
Your hatred of carbon is starting to look somewhat pathological.

SolRo - 2014-06-29
do you understand that Teflon isn't carbon?

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-06-29
To be fair: _something_ is holding those fluorine atoms together. It's not wolf urine.

This thing needs a POETV banner ad. Support!

baleen - 2014-06-28
Wow I would love to have this.
SolRo - 2014-06-28
knock yourself out;

http://www.ultraeverdrystore.com/

don't forget to buy a 0 respirator mask to survive applying your 0 wood Teflon coating.

baleen - 2014-06-29
Thanks for the link! I can't wait to benefit from the power of these nanotubes. After reading more about it I'm more convinced that its worth the money. I love this technology.

Binro the Heretic - 2014-06-29
So, how many people will get cancer or whatever from this stuff?
SolRo - 2014-06-29
a lot

Nominal - 2014-06-29
The cancer cells bounce right off your lungs!

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-07-03
SolRo's sister was raped by a non-stick pan salesman. He hasn't been the same since.
