Whenever people ask me for money for cancer research, I ask them how I can get free treatment from all the previous taxpayer funded and donation driven work. There isn't any, of course. It don't get much more Evil than that. Say, Apple looks like it could use some more money, do they take charitable contributions?

Apparently, John Ford would rile John Wayne up by reminding him of what a hero Jimmy Stewart was in WW2, and really loved hammering the fact that John Wayne didn't serve into his face. It was apparently a genuine source of anguish for him.

I was really hoping he was going to say "And it cost me...my mustache."
