"Traditional marriage." How much longer until these people go extinct?
Baby Boomers don't start dying until 2020 so its going to be a little while
My parents (and probably many of ours') are Boomers, and have seen civil rights, affirmative action, and so much more than arguably any other generation including us Millennials. Seeing two men walking down the street holding hands might make them turn their heads but that's about it. They're not the generation that needs to go in 2020, it's just fuckers like this guy.
yeah, yeah. My stepfather is also a boomer and cant stop making "ching-chong" sounds whenever we go to a Chinese or Japanese restaurant.
in aggregate, they're a terrible generation.
Baby Boomers are a terrible generation by almost every metric

I wonder how many blowjobs his frat brothers "forced" him to perform to join their ranks.
personally, i suspect his frat bothers are bigots.
to me, saying all homophobes are secretly gay is another form of villainizing homosexuality
It's a fine line between pointing out the blatant and frequent hypocrisy found in homophobes (who DO tend to be revealed as secretly highly gay on the sly) and homophobia (haha, because you're gay too, and being gay is worth making fun of in and of itself!), it's true.
Pegging most anti-gay bigots as being secretly gay would probably be homophobic if it didn't turn out to be mostly true.
Actually, it turns out a very high percentage of homophobic males become aroused when exposed to gay pornography.
sure, but their rage frequently results from a traditional ontology telling them to be ashamed of their homosexual arousal leading to them harshly condemning others with the same arousal points who don't exhibit the same shame
them being secretly gay may exacerbate their conservative mindset regarding gays.
However, i think it is likely that all of their conservative friends and family look upon homosexuality with disdain, and are all mirroring each others views.
ie it's the conservatism that's the problem, the sexual orientation (active or subverted) only helps to define the volume of the vitriol in the response
honestly, i kind of lost track of my point in there somewhere.
also, what's this about pegging anti-gay bigots?
John Holmes Motherfucker
The truth is less about homophobes secretly being gay as being terrified that they might be gay. This guy is probably neither, he's just working for Fox News.
Maybe the fear of being gay is titillating.
Either way, I think being gay is more complex than "being shown gay pornography: gets a hardon". The same homophobic males in that study were also aroused by hetero porn.
wouldn't a control for that be lesbian porn? since hetero porn still involves at least one penis.

"single ladies" is code for black women?
if the two phrased were swapped in bill and bill jr's conversation at the end it would probably represent their positions more accurately

At the fourth of july parade: Are you sure you really NEED this parade, even through Independece from Britain is pretty much a done deal?
......which is funny, and which is why like two of this guy's best lines would be funny if they weren't coming from him and he wasn't from FOX.
I'm not saying petty irony is genius-level hilarious or anything, but it's good bread-and-butter.

So from what I've seen this guy's usual shtick is the remote segments where they take dozens of hours of footage that they can edit down to five minutes to make it look like people answer basic questions incorrectly.
I like to think that the dozen hours they didn't use here is people eloquently and thoroughly shutting down his shitty, snarky, childish questions.

Jon Stewart called him out on asking college students questions about government they couldn't answer by pointing out how much most college students know.
When Fox News steals bits from Jay Leno (who stole from everyone) you know it's gonna suck.
