I wouldn't be surprised if it's Richard Simmons in that costume.

High Quality. It was a fun romp with Cool Cat, and it makes me want to know more.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that Vivica Fox's involvement in this was not intentional. I imagine this kind of thing results from either owing a favor to someone or having fallen further down the Hollywood ladder than is sane.

Can anyone confirm this is real? Everything about it, from the public access production values to the kindergarten stage play quality acting to the editing that abruptly cuts off dialog mid sentence to the website that looks like it's from 1997...it all seems like some twisted joke.
Also, Erik Estrada? Really? You just got done doing a theatrical Disney film. Surely they paid you enough to warrant subjecting yourself to this completely unnecessary.
Old_Zircon - 2014-07-27 According to IMDB it's part of an ongoing series and the production company is currently working on "I Have Cancer: A Medical Marijuana Story"

Old_Zircon - 2014-07-27 As for Estrada, it's amazing what people will subject themselves to if they're convinced it's For the Good Of the Children.

Old_Zircon - 2014-07-27
I was convinced this was a joke right up until I saw the creator.
infinite zest - 2014-07-27 Until? His Savage's website convinced me that this has to be a joke.
dairyqueenlatifah - 2014-07-27 Yeah, now that I'm delving deeper into the website I'm convinced it really is a joke or viral marketing for some comedy.
All the books on sale either have dead links or are "currently unavailable" on Amazon.
Old_Zircon - 2014-07-27 Yeah, on further reflection I agree.
infinite zest - 2014-07-27 5 poetv bucks says I'm right about Nathan For You, or something similar. Poetv bucks are nontransferable.
EvilHomer - 2014-07-27 It's got to be a hoax. Has Erik Estrada done any work non-ironically since the 1980s?
EvilHomer - 2014-07-27 If it's not a hoax, then it's intentional viral-buzz-bait, a la Patrice Wilson and every "Something-Shark" movie ever made. They can try and play this as straight as they want; I refuse to believe that they're unaware of how ridiculous this whole thing is.

infinite zest - 2014-07-27 Pato Wilson is real: After the incredibly rapey ABCDEFG video I became a little obsessed and wanted to see if he'd shoot a pilot episode for a show I was working on, so I PM'd him on facebook. He immediately responded that he was very busy, but would let me know if he could help. For us it began as a bit of a joke: how cool would it be to have the guy who did the Alison Gold videos direct an extended intro/pilot for our show that focuses exclusively on class C drugs?
Anyway, half a year later he PM'd me back asking how it was coming along, saying "that sounds like a great show! How'd it work out?" I don't think I have the courage to tell him that it's on infinite hiatus. Pato knows what he's doing: he writes songs and girls want to sing them in the hopes of becoming a Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift, even for a day. The millions of views bring out the cyberbullies, for sure, but also it's exposure- in some cases- to half a billion people. As the videos became increasingly weird it was clear he was playing the role of that adult at a kids' party, but he IS a professional.
EvilHomer - 2014-07-27 I'm not saying that he's not a professional, I'm saying that he knows exactly what he's doing. Same goes for the people involved with this!
infinite zest - 2014-07-27 Interestingly, Vivica A Fox is in Sharknado 2 (which I kinda wanna see because why not and Al Roker.) If you play that cool cat web game (in all its .swf glory) it says "game design by Jason Gullifer." Google his name and you get someone who is a regular performer at ACME comedy club in Hollywood!
infinite zest - 2014-07-27 yeah I mean in terms of the kids. In Nathan Fielder's case, kids who would watch a robotic claw reveal his penis and in Wilson's umm.. you've seen the Alison Gold video. Then again he may have been completely serious with Friday...

Also is it just me or does Derek Savage look a lot like the "Ab So Lutely" guy at the end of Tim and Eric and Nathan for You?
Scrimmjob - 2014-07-27 The Ab-so-lutely guy is Tim Heidecker's dad, so I doubt it.

5 stars for the bully's performance. He was really feeling that role. Love the character of the bully who is so ambitious that he'll bring a gun to school for to get everyone's lunch money, possibly making him the richest bully in the world.

joelkazoo - 2014-07-27 I agree, EvilHomer. He's the main reason I even submitted this. I sense he himself was bullied in school, and he's taking vicarious delight in getting to play a bully himself.
