Sorry! Forgot the nsfw in the description! I hadn't even watched the whole thing when I submitted it.

i had some fresh out of high school friends at Uni last year and they were exactly like this. They would have Friends streaming in one tab, muted, they're using Stumble Upon in another tab, AND they're trying to text and facebook chat on their iphone all at the same time, while carrying on a vapid, unfocused, broken conversation with their friend next to them... and all this does is serve to make them incredibly impatient with everything

I just think it's a great idea. It helps that this kid likes the same music as me, but watching it full screen I actually forgot I was watching a carefully choreographed film with actors. That really doesn't happen much to me anymore.

memedumpster - 2014-07-29

Okay, I am two minutes in and want to one star it and close the tab.

Five stars, could not finish.

Raggamuffin - 2014-07-29

My stars offered in the same spirit

Spaceman Africa - 2014-07-29

Well that was pretty dumb. This guy does the worst job at trying to get sympathy from me.

infinite zest - 2014-07-30

but "noah" isn't a real person. This is all staged.

oddeye - 2014-07-30

Who has porn running in the background when doing something non-sexual?

Either COMMIT to pulling yourself off or DON'T fucking start in the first place. FUCKING HELL.

Simillion - 2014-07-30

really portrays the tendency of a lot of youth to be careless with their relationships. it doesn't matter. the reality of adulthood will prevent you from keeping almost all your childhood friends anyway. this guy is just preparing for a lifetime of loneliness and he's doing it very efficiently.

but it was pretty gay though

THE GIRL ON CHATROULETTE THINKS FACEBOOK IS CREEPY.

Anyway... I don't have a facebook either. I don't regret it. I don't engage in social media at all. I just email or I call or maybe text... that's it. My life is better off that way.

It's cliche but I use facebook mostly to keep up with old college friends who are scattered around the world and sometimes post hilarious videos (most of which I see on poetv first.) I'm actually really good friends with someone who started the whole fucking thing too (not the person you're thinking of most likely) but anyway it was sort of a thing for college students, a way to stay in touch with people in school, in fact you needed a college email (something ending with .edu) to join at first. You know, to keep the myspace and friendsters out.

So anyway my ex had graduated before I did and she was really angry that she couldn't sign up for a facebook page post-grad. Because all of her friends were on there. So I finally figured out a way to get an account for her, which wasn't that easy. Anyway we sort of shared an account. As facebook expanded so did the notifications, etc. and I pretty much found out she was cheating simply by checking my inbox. I guess in a marriage you want to be cool with those things (like this kid wasn't) and address the situation before jumping to conclusions. I'm glad this isn't real because I do feel for this poor kid, but it's also an important lesson. It's been two seconds and nobody's liked this.. aw maaan.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-07-30

I was in the first wave of college kids to pick it up too. It was pretty fun back in the mid 2000s. But there was a downside all along for me.

Oh, and I also found out about my ex cheating on me through her facebook, and it's a TERRIBLE feeling, like a cold slap in a face(book). I left shortly after that happened and haven't been back for over 5 years now. Any time I think I'll come back to it, I think about all the marketing and data collection and decide the moral choice is not to.

I keep in touch with good friends anyway. Some are just memories, but my hollow profile says "I don't use this. Here's my email. Just email me if you want to reach me." so if they really cared, they could contact me. One friend did to tell me she was pregnant, whereas everyone else just got a generic status post or whatever.

infinite zest - 2014-07-30

I've done the classic walk in too, and even that hurt less. Yay our generation.

infinite zest - 2014-07-30

After I split from my wife I quit Facebook and ironically it was all my local friends that got pissed at me because they thought I had blocked them. None of my international friends noticed. A girl I was kind of seeing did the same and I had the same reaction: not that different from seeing one of your submitted videos with 0 votes, leaving the hopper like so many avocado peels that cats enjoy WHY DIDNT YOU VOTE THAT UP? :)
