Now, I edited this. So I'm not going to star it. THAT would be self starring, not starring someone else's work that I happened to submit.

The majority of this (the Frank Zappa, the Weird Al, and the 30 Rock Clips) isn't just stuff I found on YouTube, it's stuff that I watched on television over my lifetime.

I'm old enough to be your grandfather, and I can't remember a time when Don Pardo's voice wasn't familiar to me.

Kudos to Lorne Michaels for making Don Pardo the voice of SNL, giving his career a boost when he was a washed up old man, 40 years ago, and making my Saturday Nights a little less lonely.

holy crap I'd never seen that Frank Zappa performance before, and that's just perfect

also how old are you, anyway? I figured you were a disillusioned 30-something like most of us here.

I'm roughly the same age Don Pardo was when he did the Zappa collaberatrion. Here's the complete performance from SNL.

Don Pardo is an Orwellian search engine that hates porn and, thanks to poeTV, now assumes I'm a transvestite Christian furry survivalist with a career in law enforcement?

I just Duck'd him, and I still have no idea who he is. What did he do on SNL? It says he was an announcer, but I thought that was the job of whatever celebrity guests were on that night?

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-08-25

He is the slime.

He's the one who announced the names of the guests on the show every week. He did a lot of VO work, mostly in the form of game show and talk show announcements.

During the 90s when I watched SNL religiously, Don Pardo was the pastor.
