Well, orange you glad he didn't throw a squash instead?

infinite zest - 2014-08-26

Just try saying that again in your original Accent!!! :)

You can say "fuck" here. It's ok.

I went with a carrot instead. I try my best to obey the third rule, even though I think we've all broken it, like so many carrots inserted into places they shouldn't go..

..like garbage cans! Compost awareness!

PoEtv rools sez:

"3. No profanity in the title or description. Read it again. Memorize it."

The carrot also turns of the screen. True carrot power!

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-08-26

Oh hey, Empire of the Sun.

infinite zest - 2014-08-26

Oh! I actually think they're pretty cool. Walking on a Dream has a special little place in my heart.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-08-26

Yeah me too. Luke Steele's side-project the Sleepy Jackson is awesome also.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-08-26

sorry, misspoke. The Sleepy Jackson was his band before EotS, not a side project.

Woah thanks! That One Was A Spider album got me through my last hour of work. It's actually a little more my style than EOTS, like James and Ty Segall decided to start a band with J Spaceman in my mind.

I guess in a way, I should thank that carrot too.

I love love love learning about music from down under. QWOP got me into Cut Copy and Sebadoh got me into You Am I. They were playing at this shitty dive in Milwaukee, WI, Drunk as fuck and needed a place to crash. I asked my Australian cousin if she'd heard of them and she was like "WHAT!!!" They're huge down there.

You probably know about them already, but I'd highly recommend Unknown Mortal Orchestra (formerly Mint Chicks) too. They're huge in NZ and Australia but I sort of knew them as my neighbors, playing basement shows to almost nobody because the busses stop running at midnight. Now they're pretty big on both sides of the equator, I think. Anyway thanks!

Oh yeah! I love that Aussie scene with bands like Cut Copy, Midnight Juggernauts, and the Presets. My knowledge is limited to about 2008 or so, sadly, as I've barely looked into it since. Still, some really great stuff down there.
