This is sort of meant as a response to Hooker from the other thread, but that one's gotten ridiculously long. I was purposefully avoiding this story because, yes, it's pretty arbitrary. I just thought it was funny that CNN's Head Tech Expert didn't know what the fuck he was talking about. I go on /an every once in a while for cute animal pictures but asking a legitimate question about your sick cat or something on there.. well you're better off asking Yahoo Answers, or just calling a vet. Problem is if it became a domestic war against sites like 4chan and channels like Anon. We're already hearing shit being spouted about how members of ISIS may or may not be affiliated. Most of 4chan just wants to troll you. It's annoying but innocent.

That being said, I didn't know anything about 14 year-olds. When I was younger it wasn't hard to find a faked nude celebrity or whatever, a still from a film and I'm sure there were a bunch of those before these photos leaked. I hate to say it but that's part of the price of fame: you're attractive and like it or not, you're probably being visually undressed. Argue if you like about the "age of consent" but 14 year-olds, that's just not cool, and if that law has any place, it's to protect things like this from becoming easily accessible.
