I read somewhere that Frank Herbert hated rock music and wouldn't let bands make songs about Dune. But somehow, I think he'd approve of this.

Iron Maiden did an absolutely TERRIBLE song about Dune. It's a special blend of ubernerdy and phoned in that only they can do. This plinkbloophitbass version is way better, though I do want to shout "MORTAL KOMBAT" every once in a while.
