Fun physics fact: fans cool you by convection. The increased airflow causes the sweat on your skin to evaporate faster. The energy required to evaporate the water draws body heat from you. Since alien reptoid overlords disguised as humans don't sweat (presumably!) a fan would not cool them. In fact, it would slightly warm them!
