I wonder which minerals they're extracting to make the glass, and what happens to all the other product. It's a bit strange that they seem to be focusing so heavily on food waste, when that already has a great means of being recycled (compost). Also, I thought most spent beer could just be mixed into animal feed, and you can also use it as a baking product.

Also, I wonder how this glass differs from regular silica glass, which is also incredibly easy to recycle and also comes from stuff that we have practically infinite supplies of.
