It's okay because he gave him a basketball that he signed afterwards.

Plenty of gross racism in the comments, from people of every color!

A Rainbow Of Racism! (new tag?)

Well, purple is what west africans call east and southern africans.

so, maybe?

These commentors all seem like first world privileged ones, though.

Did he mean to hurt the cameraman?

I'm not a sports fan, so I could be wrong about what happened there, but it looked like play halted because Allen went out-of-bounds? If that's the case, I'm sure he was frustrated. Maybe he just meant to push the camera away?

He shouldn't be touching the camera or the cameraman at all, of course, but he didn't seem particularly angry or hostile towards the guy. It was still a childish and undignified thing to do, though.

chairsforcheap - 2014-11-05

i think he was just jacked up on the adrenalines and he didn't like the camera being in his face in that moment and just slapped him without thinking about it. Didn't rodman kick a cameraman once after going out of bounds? maybe he's copying rodman

James Woods - 2014-11-05

Churlish and insubordinate.

yogarfield - 2014-11-06

Rodman kicked a cameraman.

Both this and the Rodman incident are stellar cases of cameramen selling the contact like an Italian footballer.

Chowderheaded and perverse.
