That one is not on Phil's Back To Mono collection. Long tune for a 45 single too.

I wonder why it was unreleasable, it's no worse than other rock and roll tunes of the time.

I think it was that a dance called 'the screw' was just too overtly sexual for mainstream teen pop radio at the time.
As crazy/violent Spector is, it's a testament to his genius as a producer that his worst is still pretty good. I don't think he could make a really bad single if he tried.
