Hehe. I think it was on poe-news where someone brought this show to my attention back around when it first started. And there was this streaming service through Winamp (think projectfreetv but way more primitive) that had it, but it was bleeped, and I just figured it was always bleeped so I didn't bother paying attention until maybe a few years ago, when it was on netflix. The f-word doesn't necessarily make a comedy show funnier, but with TPB it was pretty much impossible to follow a conversation. Was the original one censored in Canada? Or did I get some weird North American stream (the rest of the shows were un-bleeped?) Canadians, help me the fuck out here.

The original episodes weren't censored, but I do remember at some point Showcase bleeping out the swears, rating it 14+ and airing it at like 3pm. Then airing it uncensored with an 18+ rating a few hours later.

IZ, that's kind of how I first experienced Kids In the Hall, in the censored Comedy Central versions. Brain Candy was the first time I heard Cancer Boy called Cancer Boy instead of "That Sick Kid."

Funny how "Cancer Boy" was bad but "Running Faggot" was A-OK with the censors..
