kingarthur - 2014-11-28 Personally, I find the story about the dinosaur/dragon skull the best part. I was convinced she was doing a character until I found all her other videos. She's apparently trying to get a library closed down because "pornography".

Audits? I thought she was a Christian, not a Scientologist.
Yeah, criticize the museum summaries designed for children, not, you know, the actual scientific papers and research that they're based on.
God, she's angry and ignorant and bitter.
|
fluffy - 2014-11-28 There isn't anything in the summaries that's wrong, anyway. Her criticisms are just the same old "if we came from monkeys then why are there still monkeys?" canard repeated ad nauseum.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep and blah-blah-blah-blah-blah...

At this point it doesn't really matter too much what Darwin may or may not have said as there is a collaborating evidence from a fuck ton of other sources.
Anti-science types can't seem to understand that Darwin being wrong has little to no bearing on if evolution today should be "thrown out as myth" like many seem to suggest.
It's maddening.

100-year-old science makes more sense than 2000-year-old fiction.
|
spikestoyiu - 2014-11-28 I love when these types refer to something like evolution as "magic". I mean... given their alternative... how is THAT "magic"?

I was going to submit this but then decided not to because the stupid hurts.

The notion that God can define a day however he chooses to define it is above their heads. God doesn't work within your little rules, lunkhead. Does the Book of Job mean nothing?

I can't bear to look or listen to this woman. Five stars.

If your scientific argument starts with "I can't pronounce this word" and segues into "blah blah blah," you should probably take a closer look at your argument.

Dib - 2014-12-01 Wasn't that the central argument of the Wilberforce v Huxley debate?
