Pretty sure the locals make good use of the massage girls. Sex tourism is huge, but sex sells to everyone, locals included.
Personally, the only reason to go into those places (if you know the right ones) is to buy weed. Comes packaged to look like a govt issued pack of smokes, right down to the joints being cigarettes with the tobacco replaced with reasonable weed.
