I always thought they were illegal here as pets. There's all sorts of weird laws about exotic animals. Did you know that you can't have Gerbils in California? I learned that the hard way once. But nope! I looked it up and they're totally legal in Oregon. Now I want one.

She's also got the same coloring as my cat, right down to the nose. Maybe that would be illegal, since my cat would probably go insane. I don't know a thing about caring for anteaters, but they seem pretty chill. Don't know what they like to eat though. :)
