This is my favorite Christmas song.
When I was five, my parents got me a vinyl LP full of "wacky" Christmas songs to play for the holidays. This was the song I loved most on it. I remember playing the album on our stereo the size of a bedroom dresser.
I don't think it was this version, though. I seem to recall all the songs on the album being performed by groups of children. It wasn't until years later I heard this version.

The sad part is if it Santa really were to deliver her a hippo, it would freak out, trample her and then spray piss and shit everywhere. Merry Christmas!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that around girls.

I'd never heard of this before it turned up in Grumpy Cat's movie.
Gayla Peevey is now 71, she's very religious, has a website,
And still occasionally performs this song in public. I love one hit wonders. It takes a certain gift to live on past success without being sad about it.
This was originally broadcast on the Ed Sullivan show.
How have you never heard this?
John Holmes Motherfucker
I dunno, maybe it's a regional thing. Or maybe generational. Maybe by the time it was "rediscovered", I'd grown up.

That was incredible. And Disturbing. And Cena/Evil Homer banter ... ★★★★★
I was looking for this earlier but for some reason a domain-limited google search for "dakimakura" didn't find it.
