Can anyone link to an explanation about why they were kicked out? I would imagine loitering and generally being in the way, but not sure cuz you can't hear shit in that audio...

jreid - 2014-12-22 Sounds like it was a combination of miscommunication + frustrated manager.
"WalMart was contacted the Monday before the performance, but it seems the Thursday crew wasnt notified. The group was told to leave after the manager on duty made an announcement about children looking for their parents, but couldnt be heard over the singing."

Good. It's about time WalMart did something right for a change.

Klamath Falls. Worse than Medford?
|
infinite zest - 2014-12-22 I always wondered if Gravity Falls was a combination of Klamath Falls and Medford, or wherever that Mystery Vortex thingy is..
|
The Mothership - 2014-12-22 I'm convinced that Gravity Falls is actually a representation of Falls City, OR.
|
infinite zest - 2014-12-22 I had to look it up; it's kinda sad that I probably know more about the small towns in Wisconsin than I do in my home state. The kids (especially the older ones) remind me a lot of the people we'd sneak off campus and smoke weed with at Willamette University's music camp. There wasn't much else to do so we'd just change the signs around on business' marquees and hang out in the safeway parking lot drinking 40s.

infinite zest - 2014-12-23 Hehe. I loved going to Mel's Hole on field trips. The reason I think it's Gold Hill, Oregon is due to the fact that Gravity Falls is in Oregon and there's a website like this one:
http://www.oregonvortex.com/science.htm
If you haven't been there, it's a trip, especially on certain Alex Shulgin-approved substances. But like the Simpsons, we may never know.. :)

The Mothership - 2014-12-23 Falls City, OR is a pit of despair occupied by hippies, animal abusers, farmers, homeless children (population: less than 1000, but had the worst homeless rate in the state...IN THE STATE), rednecks, loggers, meth cooks and cannabis grow operations. I used to live nearby. It also has a world class mountain bike trail system that is the best riding I have ever seen.

Another assault from Obama's war on Christmas!!
|
EvilHomer - 2014-12-23 "Christmas" carols are marginalizing and offensive to Muslims, Buddhists, and Atheists. I counted at least seven uses of the C-word in under a minute's time!
The children should have been instructed to sing Holiday carols instead.
|
EvilHomer - 2014-12-23 Also, it's totally not cool to hang out in front of the Money Center, because that might remind WalMart shoppers of the story of Jesus in the Temple, and fuck if we'd want people remembering that, particularly at a time like Holiday. It's bad enough that some Bronze Agers still cling to BABY Jesus, imagine what would happen if they started idolizing TERRORIST Jesus!

THE WAR ON CHRISTMAS CONTINUES!
|
SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-12-24 But it's in a Wal-Mart, bastion of conservative values, like not paying a living wage, busting unions, and importing loads of crap from China!

Scarecrow - 2014-12-28
FDA and the KKK, American Psychiatric and the Catholic Church, Gonzo Films and the Bolshevist-leaning Actor's Guild, the Rotheschildes and the Arab Terror Front, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and the Japanese Mafia, the Comstock farm consortium and Apple, they all support Walmart and its abusive labor practices. Never support those organizations. Labor destructive to people around the globe.
