Yeah right "missing children", plus everything else they want heard all over the store. Walmart associates seem to use the PA system for just about everything that the rest of the store could care less about.

I'm convinced that Gravity Falls is actually a representation of Falls City, OR.

I had to look it up; it's kinda sad that I probably know more about the small towns in Wisconsin than I do in my home state. The kids (especially the older ones) remind me a lot of the people we'd sneak off campus and smoke weed with at Willamette University's music camp. There wasn't much else to do so we'd just change the signs around on business' marquees and hang out in the safeway parking lot drinking 40s.

And the weird vortex thingy is an allusion to Mel's Hole, in Washington.

It used to be worse, but then some tribal came along and took care of the rat problem. It's also good place to hunt for gecko pelts and earn a few decent caps. I figure with it being a popular caravan stop on the way to Arroyo, things should get better over time.

Hehe. I loved going to Mel's Hole on field trips. The reason I think it's Gold Hill, Oregon is due to the fact that Gravity Falls is in Oregon and there's a website like this one:

If you haven't been there, it's a trip, especially on certain Alex Shulgin-approved substances. But like the Simpsons, we may never know.. :)

Falls City, OR is a pit of despair occupied by hippies, animal abusers, farmers, homeless children (population: less than 1000, but had the worst homeless rate in the state...IN THE STATE), rednecks, loggers, meth cooks and cannabis grow operations. I used to live nearby. It also has a world class mountain bike trail system that is the best riding I have ever seen.

"Christmas" carols are marginalizing and offensive to Muslims, Buddhists, and Atheists. I counted at least seven uses of the C-word in under a minute's time!

The children should have been instructed to sing Holiday carols instead.

Also, it's totally not cool to hang out in front of the Money Center, because that might remind WalMart shoppers of the story of Jesus in the Temple, and fuck if we'd want people remembering that, particularly at a time like Holiday. It's bad enough that some Bronze Agers still cling to BABY Jesus, imagine what would happen if they started idolizing TERRORIST Jesus!

But it's in a Wal-Mart, bastion of conservative values, like not paying a living wage, busting unions, and importing loads of crap from China!
