And then MADtv created Miss Swan.

Wow. Forgot about Miss Swan. Did that actress go on to voice Lois in Family Guy?

spikestoyiu
Yes, and I think they even did a Miss Swan bit ON Family Guy.

Maggot Brain
I've never got the point of Miss Swan. The only time that joke really worked is when she was trying to describe a criminal suspect.

chumbucket
He look like a man.

This would bother me in some way I suppose, but then I remember how spectacularly Carvey committed career suicide with the flame-out that was Master of Disguise.
Rodents of Unusual Size
Yeah, his career died for good reason.

Binro the Heretic
He might have been able to recover...if not for the turtle guy.

Prickly Pete
It's 2015, are we still sensitive to (x)face? Idk if that retroactively makes older bits like this ok, but if this came on today then anyone bitching about it would just be a nag, right?
Rodents of Unusual Size
I find it more depressing than anything.

I once went out with this guy who was from a small town in Utah. He didn't have a lot of exposure to Asian culture. Our one and only date was at a Japanese restaurant where he did his Mr. Miyagi impression, insulted the waitress with his quaint "accent" ala Dana Carvey here, and proceeded to tell me things he knew about Japan, which basically accounted to both stereotypes and also confusing it with China.

I had to leave a larger than normal tip that day.
