As far as I'm concerned, the drummer kinda stole the whole thing.

He's the only one who actually plays the song very well, and if you're going to do something like this you should own it.

They play about as well as vegans who like Black Sabbath can be expected to do.

What I want to know is how did these four guys find each other? Which one first suggested this act? Were the others down with it right away, or did it take some convincing? The mind boggles.

For some reason, I'm actually surprised something like this didn't happen sooner. I mentioned it before in that Lord Rockingham (Hillary Clinton's ghost writer) video, but Space Ghost C2C sort of did this a good decade and a half earlier with the Baffler Meal episode (unofficially the first appearance of the Aqua Teens.) Basically, if you're good at covering famous songs you need to come up with some gimmick at this point, because everybody with a guitar knows this song. I didn't live on the east coast for that long, and was surprised to learn of the "colonial" rock genre that exists out there, but tribute groups like the Misfats existed out in Oregon too. That, and I think Burger King had a series of commercials with a Sabbath-esque band.. I guess it was just a matter of time. I am very impressed by their level of dedication though.

I'm also assuming there's a "go vegan" agenda at work here too.

I suspect these lyrics ascribe way more culinary skill than is actually typical to any given McDonald's worker.
The most relevant Ronald McDonald has been in a decade.

Honestly though, Happy is the most terrifying (thereby metal) character McDonalds has ever produced.
The Mothership
This stands the test of time.
