It's kind of sobering to think Coldplay was just another rung on the steady slide of pop music towards being the equivalent of the "demo" button on a Casio keyboard.

Popular hip-hop has been the demo button on a Casio for like four years now, at least.

It's funny because I didn't know it was Coldplay until I watched this video, I just sort of assumed it was Band of Foxes or whatever. Nearly every other Coldplay song I've heard I haven't liked, except for a really cool remix of Clocks by Royksopp.
