Clearly shot by a foreigner who is unfamiliar with Japan's epidemic of creepy little girl ghosts.

Ninjers, and their ninjitsu.

What did you say? Ninja?!

Adham Nu'man - 2015-01-17
Yes. Ninjers and their ninjitsu.

according to youtube comments it's a helpful monkey ghost that farts flowers. The more you know (from youtube).

NINJA FISH!

This isn't the first video of its kind I've seen. The tsunami uprooted all kinds of junk, including items containing compressed or trapped gasses. This is just one of many plumes of mist/smoke/whatever in an entire sea of what used to be a city.

Add wishful thinking to artifact-cluttered video and suddenly GHOSTS!
Binro the Heretic - 2015-01-17
Yeah, "propane tank" was my first reaction.

fedex - 2015-01-18
Same here except for the fluidity of the motion, which I guess could be due to the camera angle

It's a lion!

Methinks it is like a weasel.

Or a whale.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-01-17
Five stars for some amazing and terrifying footage of the tsunami.

My vote is: faked. It looks like someone used some kind of blur tool on the frames to produce the result. At higher def in slow motion it looks like static pixels just being moved around by some post production process.

Great premise for a story or something, but I don't think it's something that was actually captured on the video. Call me extra skeptical.

1 vote for faked. Everyone else thinks it's a an amazing, real, strange creature.

It's clearly a Chilean Sea Blob.

Plastic bag, gas being expelled, or water spray. Take your pick.
