Mississippi may have the highest teen birth rates in the country, but I bet they have the lowest rates of athletes foot.
Rodents of Unusual Size
also the lowest rate of people who can find gonorrhea on a map.

SolRo

So is the idea that if kids never learn to use condoms, they just won't have sex? Or are they actually worried that teaching kids about safe sex will turn them into uncontrollable sexual deviants? Either way that's really dumb.
Shoebox Joe
Either that or Mississippi is one of those states that hopes for the next coming via virgin birth.

SolRo
Both.

err, all three.

It helps if you think of us as a third world country. Racist, reactionary, evangelical politics are how the crooks stay in office and funnel money into their own bank accounts. Occasionally, as has happened recently to Scott and Bill Walker with the DMR scandal, they go to jail for it. But not until after the whistle blower turns up dead so it can't be traced back to the last or current governor.

You have my condolences.

It was a long time ago but I remember they couldn't do the banana or cucumber demonstration or really explain how to use it, just that you should. So a condom, diaphragm, etc. were just words to me. Kinda like an IUD. I'm 32 and know people that have one but I still have no fucking clue how it works. Anyway my first time was rather embarrassing because I didn't know you were supposed to have boner. Stupid public schools.

Of all places, Top Gear had a great quote that sums all this up.

"That's an ingenious solution to a problem that never should have existed in the first place."
