Cool! Looks like it screened at the Toronto Film Fest a couple months ago so hopefully soon.. this looks as fun as the first Dead or Alive, if not even more fun.

Satcrates - 2015-02-02 This is lots of fun! It's a rap musical, which isn't clear from the teaser. Saw it at the Hawaii international film festival in October, and it was great. Lots of apparently famous Japanese rap stars in the cast. The narrator, in particular, seemed really talented (but who knows, since i don't speak japanese and was just trusting the guy who wrote the subtitles). He sounded like he had great flow.

SolRo - 2015-02-02 And japan teaches engish as a required subject in school so most Japanese are at least vaguely familiar with English, it adds a coolness thing like using a foreign word does in every other place, etc, etc, etc

infinite zest - 2015-02-02 A good friend of mine is from Mexico but moved to the US about 15 years ago and is definitely fluent in both, but sometimes still mispronounces or puts accents in the wrong place with Engish words.

Sion Sono is the bee's knees. I recommend the completely disturbing Cold Fish if you haven't seen it. It was like someone put my college experience to film. :D
