This was actually quite interesting. They touched upon what seem to be some of the shittier aspects of many human societies. Among others..
The elites greed can know no bounds.
The proles can often be duped into going along with the elites policies to their detriment.
The elites will continue to make decisions which doom the entire society if they are habitually insulated from the negative consequences of their decisions.*

Also its a pleasant to hear a conversation between two obviously knowledgeable, incisive, sober and humane guys coming from the US.
