No one here is Jewish, so it's cool.

How do you know they're terrorists? Are the kurds terrorists? Is anyone opposing Assad a terrorist? What does that make the Russian supplied rebels in ukraine?

The middle east is filled with bloodthirsty lunatics so it's always safe to assume that any middle easterner with access to weapons is a terrorist.

Taking sides in any middle eastern civil war is insane. Let them eat each other and hope the ones left standing will be rational enough to do business with us. They need our technology to efficiently extract the oil so the least they can do is cut us a deal.

Bearded guys with weapons

War is hell, and moral ambiguity is the sort of thing POE is for.

My stars are for 3:16- goddamn does that missile meander a long way before hitting it's target.

they're designed to hit a certain part of a tank, typically meaning they actually fly just above the tank and then setting off a downward facing shaped explosive. Or, they may travel up and then come down at an angle to hit the top of the turret or the intersection where the turret and chassis meet, where armor is weakest. All of that independent of the operator. So once locked on and fired, the launcher and missile work together to determine the best angle to hit the tank at.

When my dad was in the army back in the 80's he remembered one time when an east german defector took a T72 across the wall and brought it to NATO. When the military studied it they were stunned by how much of a death trap it was. It had thin arumor on the sides of it turret and top, with ammo exposed so every time it got hit by any kind of kinetic rounds it would explode, knocking the turret off and killing the whole crew.

A lot of Russian tanks from that era worked like that it seems.

Tank ammo cooking off is as gratifying as scab peeling and DIY surgeries on YouTube.
