He reminds me of a guy who lives behind me, and always bothers me for cigarettes and trying to sell me dirt weed, always breaking up with his girlfriend, always on a nice cocktail of meth and steel reserve, always stealing peoples' bike wheels and trying to sell them back to the original owner, one of those guys. I do feel sorry for the guy, honestly. He's probably 38 now and his mom finally had enough and kicked him out. Basically he's homeless but lives less than a block away from his mom, like he's camping in the back yard. Mr. Parkourdude, from what I've seen is in a similar situation, except for war-related PTSD, which my "friend" never had to endure. Really I just hope he's alright.
If I recall, this guy never served. He does, however, refer to himself as "a future Navy Seal".
In the one I saw he said he was a marine, but that could be baloney, as he was complaining to a McDonalds employee.
I've seen his name come up in stolen valor threads pretty often. He seems a bit too soft, physically and mentally.
He reminds me of a few people I've known, like this one man who was related to an acquaintance of an friend, full of bullshit claims about having served in the Air Force in various capacities, from translator to EOD - he's a waste-oid living on the fringes of a city; lot of hard drug usage, frequently shacks up with skanky prostitutes, is in a state of semi-permanent unemployment and has no plans for the future beyond "whatever".
Yeah, at least my guy didn't lie about it.. it was sad because I know his mom too. I've got her on the speed dial when other neighbors are threatening to call the cops on one of his "nights." He can't stay there but she can calm him down. He was a good kid with a pretty good job and things just went to shit at age 30 or so after a divorce and subsequent loss of a job and he fell in with a shitty meth crowd.
I was talking to this one guy not too long ago at a bus stop at 4 in the morning who also said he was in the marines, and could prove it because he had it on his cellphone. The speed-dial said "Marines" and would I like any weed. At that point I didn't care that the story was BS or want his weed. Dude was cold so that's why I buy gloves every time I'm at the dollar store so I can give them to people who need them. I hope he's alright too, but lying about serving your country's really not cool.
Isn't this one of the guys who earned his own subforum on the CWCki boards?
Oh yeah, OK, this is the same guy:
Something's going on right now, if the flamey gifs and massive spike in post activity are any indication. Don't know what, but feel free to peruse those threads if you're interested.
I don't really know anything about this guy beyond "he's a civvie wannabe war-nerd", and frankly I've never been too interested in finding out more - when I check a ChrisChan fansite, I wanna read about ChrisChan dnagit! But still, if you're so batshit insane that people on a forum dedicated to ChrisChan will stop discussing ChrisChan and start trolling on you, then I guess you must be doing something extraordinary.
DISREGARD, COCKS. Breaking developments from Scimmjob and yogarfield below.
the sabre dance was written for this one exact moment
I'm pretty sure he said "You're gonna get your IP backtraced", so my money is now on "fake", although holy shit....
hasn't he made like 43 million hours of uploads though?
Loads of uploads and mirror accounts for vids he's taken down. Up until the Prius / Wu ordeal most of his videos were largely unwatched.
I've always gone back and forth on Jace. Always thought that if he was a troll, he was dedicated to a point that signifies a different type of insanity.
And ties to MDE? Fuck me funning. Got a link?
Well, there's this. Which seems like bullshit artists bullshitting buzzfeed.
Some people are claiming he had a few lines in MDE's Ideas Man thing they did a while back.
Jury's is out for me. I was randomly checking old subs and threw this up, before realized he was either connected to Gamergate (a subject I honestly don't give a fuck about) or trending in any way. Weird.
So, hipster NEET trying to make a career out of troll-shielding?
Also Jace can be seen in another MDE video titled "an inconvenient anime". As well Sam Hyde mentions the character Commander Stryker, and other Deagle Nation specific stuff in video's that pre date Jace being around.
Oh my god, that is him in the anime vid. Awesome. I don't know how I let Jace's clever disguise of sunglasses throw me off.
So what's the deal here? Could you give us, or at least me, a brief summation of what this guy is / was about? As stated above, the only thing I know is that he's an object of derision on the ChrisChan forums.
Mostly he was an exaggeration of COD gamer culture, with some added frills like lying about military service, feigned(?) mental illness which caused him to believe he was constantly under siege by jihadists, just being a dummy. Some groups wanted to troll him and fuck him over, others were entertained by his antics, and wanted to interact with him on his live streams. I think the cwcki forums latched onto Deagle Nation because of a lack of content from Chris, while Jace was usually up to some kind of bullshit.
I have always been on the fence on Jace's veracity. His sheer output and (until this year) low view count on everything he made smacked of mental illness.
At times he would ham it up a bit much ( http://youtu.be/a0WWpVPiupI ), insisting that he was a "Marine in the Army" and whatnot.
The connection to ChrisChan is that he was pretending to believe that Chris wasn't a real person, but the star of a Canadian sitcom called "Chris Chandler and Friends". See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB5pqtwZxG8.
But really don't watch that, because at this point this is just sham upon sham upon sham. While this guy may be playing a character, he is still a bit off, much in the same way that some of CWC's remoras are just as disturbed as Chris himself. Perhaps even more so, because deep down Chris is just an innocent butterfly flutting about, terrifying the gals with his doughy, yellow wings and occasionally committing minor copyright fraud involving various rodents of the gaming world.
So, classic Sad-Fatter Syndrome, then?
Ugh, I'm just going to go with Paul Anka Rules here.
Not buying it.
