Hang in there kid. The IMC has an endless supply of boogie men for you to fight once you reach enlistment age.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-03-06

Life imitates art. Remember how Jon Stewart used to feature children performing the transcripts of Fox News talk shows? More evidence that today's conservatives defy parody.

Just another day in the youtube "marketplace of ideas".

EvilHomer - 2015-03-06

Haha, yeah, you tell those conservatives, Mr Holmes! They're so stupid and dumb. Like, you remember how they used to support that crazy president of ours, who was all about bombing other countries, torturing Arabs, expanding domestic surveillance programs, and rolling back Constitutionally-guaranteed liberties under the guise of security and public order? And Jon Stewart, he had to tell us all about how great freedom and liberalism and the Founding Fathers were, because FOX NEWS sure wasn't going to do it, no sir! Those damn conservatives, walking parodies of themselves - grrrr!

Anyways, I'm still waiting on that picture you promised, of you with a cat on your head. I'd really love to see it, if you don't mind; you would be making an excellent contribution to the marketplace of ideas!

EvilHomer - 2015-03-06

Like I said before, the cat may be in any position - butt front, face front, standing, sitting, whatever - but I do need to be able to see your face. Your expression should be something that you feel sums up your attitude towards life, Youtube, and the social media work you do as Felix Ray.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-03-06

I'm not sure what point you're making, Homer. Jon Stewart used to feature children reading transcripts from Fox News Talk shows, and now conservatives are embracing a twelve year old kid as some kind of hero. What part of this statement is not true, or is taken out of context?

I did NOT promise you a picture of me with a cat on my head, and none will be forthcoming. Never mind that I doubt that you want it for some kind of tribute; trying to balance a cat on my head while taking a selfie is a pretty good way to lose an eye.

EvilHomer - 2015-03-06

I'm agreeing with you, John. Conservatives defy parody! Sorry if I sounded sarcastic.

And the pic is a surprise! If you can't get the cat on your head, then one of you making the aforementioned expression, with a pancake on your head, would suffice. Or else just one of you where we can see your face clearly.

EvilHomer - 2015-03-06

The facial expression is the mane thing here.

Gmork - 2015-03-06

"mane"

EvilHomer - 2015-03-06

Ohhhh, shoot. I'm sorry Gmork, I was not trying to be mean; you are one of the non-bad conservatives. Yurushite kudasai!

Cena_mark - 2015-03-06

Save it for the pony videos.

poorwill - 2015-03-06

EvilHomer is the worst.

infinite zest - 2015-03-06

I only watched the first 30 seconds or so, but didn't Obama more-or-less imply that by calling them Barbarians? From what I've seen they're actually more literally an assault on Muslims than Christians.

Maggot Brain - 2015-03-06

What Christians in Iraq? All the Chaldeans Iraq left and are now running the numbers racket in San Diego's east county.

SolRo - 2015-03-06

Trufact.

I moved to east county recently, it's like Little Iraq.

it looks like the area has gotten cleaner and safer than the reputation it used to have.

Killer Joe - 2015-03-06

The young man was kicked off facebook for his "Conservative Stance", he's being persecuted, you see.
Or he's younger than fb's user agreement allows, but probably more because he's hitting a nerve with the liberal elite.
A fun side note, this kid ( http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=54770 ) that was doing the same thing a few years back has walked away from conservatism, saying he was a dumb kid who had no idea what the world was like outside his parent's sphere of influence.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-03-06

What's more, if this is the kid I'm thinking of (didn't check the link), his change of position had supposed adults in the conservative movement dogpiling on him in the most petty and childish way. Liberals often behave like this at the level of internet cranks in comments sections. Conservatives behave like this in columns and TV news shows.

This kid is just being a kid. He's not supposed to have original ideas. He's making youtube videos, and it speaks well for him that he's so poised and articulate. I think he's got a great future, whatever his opinion of Obama is as an adult.

What's crazy is that thousands of adults are taking this as some kind of vindication. They're acting like it proves something. They're putting him on Fox and friends. That a 12 year old can parrot their shitty talking points doesn't make them any more true, and for the life of me I can't imagine why they think it does.

baleen - 2015-03-06

There will always be a very comfortable place at the Republican table for black people who can convince conservatives that everything they've always known about black people is right.

If I were a black kid from a small town, the only black kid in town perhaps, and I'd never felt a single pang of racism from anybody because "I was just like everybody else," you bet I'd be a black Republican. It's like being born born in gold foil.

Cena_mark - 2015-03-06

HA HA! He says he lost his conservative views after studying philosophy and maturing with age. He calls the views he held at 13 naive. I remember when conservatives were praising this kid. Now they're mad because he grew up and they didn't.

Void 71 - 2015-03-06

This kid's a good actor. I hope this role doesn't ruin his career.

Old_Zircon - 2015-03-06

Rudy Giuliani runs a consulting firm that has been providing security consultation to the government of Qatar for ages.

Which means Rudy Giuliani's company is literally working as closely with Al Quaeda as you can while still not technically working with Al Quaeda.

http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=129838

Rudy Giuliani loves any country that pays him.

Old_Zircon - 2015-03-06

I mean quite literally Rudy Giuliani is making money advising the government that is protecting the person who masterminded 9/11. That's next level even by the standards of American politics.

Cena_mark - 2015-03-06

Get this kid a Public Enemy CD before its too late. This young Carlton Banks needs a wake up call.

Prickly Pete - 2015-03-06

Is there any field other than politics where a 12 year old's opinion holds as much weight as a grown adult's? If a 12 year old told you you had lime disease you'd probably say, "Oh, ok, that's cute, but you probably no idea what you're talking about since you're fucking 12." (When I say "you" here I'm referring to the conservative base, not "you" as in you, cause I'm sure everyone here can agree that the kid is full of it/ heavily brainwashed)

Bort - 2015-03-06

Fundamentalists love to trot out the five-year-old preachers; that's even worse.

Binro the Heretic - 2015-03-06

This is going to be on the Internet forever, kid.

Talk to us again in a couple of years.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-03-07

I honestly think Obama is just kind of apathetic about America. He doesn't appear to have that much emotion either way. Like I'm president but meeeh.

I like this kid. I don't agree with him but I want him to have his own show on Fox. He can replace Bill O'Reilly when he decides to become a permanent war correspondent. They need some new blood on that channel.
